Wazuh was founded in 2015 by Santiago Bassett as a fork of OSSEC.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, Wazuh has a global presence with a 100+ team distributed across the United States, Spain, and Argentina.

There are 1.5 million Wazuh installations every month. Over 200k enterprises use Wazuh, and our project currently has over 2.5 million lines of code.

Wazuh is a security platform that provides unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. It is a comprehensive open source security platform used for threat detection, integrity monitoring, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
