Began my career as a Systems Programmer in the VAX and CDC world and have been user of Linux systems for decades. Currently run my own hosting company with 35 servers across 3 colocations, all with some form of Linux and virtualization and containerization. Wazuh deployed across all, with custom detection rules as honeypots are intermixed within production systems.
I have given numerous Honeypot customization workshops which includes custom Wazuh integration. I speak around the world at conferences and without exception I would say, Wazuh is in 100% of my talks. I’m always looking for ways to make it do more in my environments, which means I’m always active in my home lab.
