After years of system and network administrator, IT manager and then security manager background in military, I moved to private sector as a security manager of a financial company dealing with payments. I have built the SOCless 24/7 alerting system to both ensuring adequate security and to comply with PCI DSS and PCI 3DS, Wazuh at the core.
I had always heard of Wazuh but the first time I had some hands-on experience was in one of my master’s classes in 2021. And in 2022, I rebuilt the central logging system we had with Wazuh. It has been over 2 years since we have been using it in production on business-critical systems.
