Become an ambassador

I have over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity working for Everfox, Forcepoint Federal, Trend Micro, and VMware developing a broad range of security solutions including user-entity behavior analytics, threat management, and content filtering. My current focus is behavior analytics and insider threat risk.

While at Trend Micro I was the open-source community manager for the OSSEC project responsible for promoting the development and use of OSSEC. I invited Santiago to join the core OSSEC team to help me organize several conferences where OSSEC users and developers convened to discuss how they were using the platform. Santiago and I collaborated on projects to index OSSEC alerts with Elasticsearch and visualize security activity in Kibana dashboards. This work formed the basis of what later became the Wazuh Security Platform.
