Héctor Camacho is an Information Security Engineer with a solid background in offensive and defensive cybersecurity (Blue and Red Team).
His expertise spans from vulnerability management and system hardening to the optimization and implementation of SIEM/XDR platforms for threat detection and response, including deployments with Wazuh.

In the defensive domain, he specializes in cloud security solutions, firewall configuration, IPS/IDS, DDoS protection, antispam, Active Directory, and identity management.
On the offensive side, he focuses on “ethical hacking” and “pentesting,” applying advanced exploitation techniques and control evasion.
He integrates open source through scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate critical processes and actively participates in CTFs and simulation platforms.

As a social commitment, Héctor is a passionate cybersecurity advocate and instructor. He holds certifications in advanced security, information security management, and professional cybersecurity, along with academic honors.
