Day Johnson is a cybersecurity engineer at Amazon, where he leads initiatives across threat intelligence, threat hunting, and incident response. His work focuses on uncovering insider threats, detecting fraud and abuse, and building bespoke security automation solutions at scale. Previously, he was a Detection Engineer and Security Researcher at Datadog, where he developed advanced threat detections for Datadog’s Cloud SIEM, conducted in-depth research, and drove detection strategy across cloud-native environments.
