I am an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience in securing cloud, hybrid, and enterprise IT environments across industries including finance, healthcare, insurance, education and Government sectors.

I specialize in implementing open-source SIEM solutions, enhancing threat detection and response capabilities, and aligning security operations with global standards such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and MITRE ATT&CK. I actively support the global cybersecurity community through training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to help teams adopt scalable, open-source security solutions. I’m passionate about empowering organizations to build resilient, threat-informed architectures through collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.

I hold multiple industry-recognized Academic and Certifications, including Master in Cyber Security, CISSP, Microsoft Cyber Security Architect, Public Cloud (AWS | Azure | Google), CEH and DevOps. I am founder of IT Fortress, a global cybersecurity and cloud consultancy based in New Zealand, delivering services across enterprise environments in regions including ANZ, the Middle East, and Europe.
