Chief Wazuh Engineer
/ Blue Wolf Ninja / Branch Network Consulting
I have been in IT for over 30 years, with a special focus on cybersecurity and network engineering for the past 20, and specifically engaged with the Wazuh project since very shortly after Wazuh forked OSSEC in 2015. Over that time I’ve made extensive professional use of Wazuh, as well as submitted countless enhancement requests and bug reports to Wazuh as the project developed. Between 2017 and early 2025 I commercially taught the “Wazuh for Security Engineers” training course for Wazuh Inc about 100 times, as well as made substantial enhancements and expansions to the course content over that time.
I am passionate about using and growing the Wazuh project, as well as helping others to cultivate their own Wazuh “ninja skills”. In the past couple of years alone, I have materially contributed to well over 1,000 Wazuh Slack community support threads, and am now finally starting my blog journey as BlueWolfNinja (bluewolfninja.com), to get my huge file of already developed advanced Wazuh topics finally to a polished form ready to serve the community.
Long ago I founded and still manage a small MSSP that makes deeply custom-orchestrated use of the Wazuh stack to successfully serve our clients. I specialize in advanced integration of Wazuh to facilitate complex use cases, as well as in advanced Wazuh architecture, Wazuh operational monitoring, and Wazuh diagnostics.
From both my scars and success stories, I am eager to continue serving the Wazuh community as this amazing project continues to unfold.
