"Since 2022, I have been deeply engaged with Wazuh as part of my work in an R&D laboratory focused on building comprehensive SIEM solutions. Through extensive study of Wazuh's architecture, functionality, and features, I have developed a thorough understanding of its capabilities as a powerful open-source security platform. My R&D experience has provided me with unique insights into both the technical challenges of implementing enterprise-grade security monitoring and the practical considerations of transitioning from traditional SIEM solutions to modern, scalable architectures. Moving forward, I am committed to contributing to the Wazuh community by sharing this knowledge through technical documentation, tutorials, and best practices guides that bridge the gap between theoretical security concepts and real-world implementation. I plan to actively participate in community discussions, mentor new users navigating the transition to Wazuh, and contribute to the detection engineering ecosystem by developing and sharing custom rules, decoders, and integrations based on my hands-on experience. Through this program, I hope to establish myself as a thought leader who can effectively communicate complex security concepts while fostering collaboration and innovation within the open-source security community."
