Franco Tampieri is a software developer and cybersecurity consultant, and co-founder of TTlab® in Imola, Italy, where he works as a Virtual CISO.

He helps small and medium-sized businesses become compliant with NIS-2, GDPR, and ISO/IEC 27001 using open-source tools that stay inside their own perimeter. As a developer he builds DevSecOps software and industrial integrations in Python, Go, Rust, and TypeScript/React, applying IEC 62443 principles to OT/ICS environments.

He runs Wazuh as the SIEM/XDR core of his security stack, alongside OpenCTI for threat intelligence, and maintains the community “awesome-wazuh” resource list.

A 1Password Partner MSP Certified and Wazuh Ambassador, he also works in AI engineering (context engineering, multi-agent systems, and AI security) the point where software development and cybersecurity meet.
