I am an IT professional and cybersecurity practitioner based in Kampala, Uganda, with expertise spanning IT governance, security operations, and digital infrastructure and deployment and management of security systems across enterprise environments.

I am passionate about open-source technologies and their transformative potential for organizations across East Africa with a desire to see technology enriching the lives of all people across all walks of life.

As a Wazuh Ambassador, I actively promote Wazuh adoption in Uganda and the broader East African region building and documenting SOC implementations using Wazuh for practical, real-world deployments, producing educational content like blog articles and videos to grow community awareness and technical capacity, and advocating for open-source security tools as viable, powerful solutions for organizations with limited resources.

Through these efforts, I envision Wazuh as a go-to security platform for the region that will support the next generation of cybersecurity professionals in East Africa from the very beginning of their careers.
