I am an Information Security professional currently leading the Cybersecurity area within my organization, where I work across cybersecurity, information security, IT security, risk management, security monitoring, compliance, and security awareness initiatives.

I am passionate about cybersecurity and continuous learning. My interests include security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and open-source security solutions.

In addition to my professional role, I serve as a lecturer in a university postgraduate program in Information Security, where I enjoy helping students connect cybersecurity concepts with real-world challenges.

Since discovering Wazuh, I have explored its capabilities through hands-on labs, integrations, and practical use cases. I have also incorporated it into classroom activities and practical exercises, helping students gain hands-on experience with security monitoring and threat detection. I enjoy sharing what I learn and helping more students, professionals, and organizations discover the value of open-source security technologies.
