Imtiaz is a cybersecurity professional with 20 years of hands-on experience building and securing enterprise environments across highly regulated sectors, including banking and finance. His approach is grounded in practical execution — aligning security strategy with business objectives, reducing organizational risk, and delivering results with precision.

Throughout his career, Imtiaz has led high-impact initiatives including ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification programs, security architecture design, and the deployment of scalable detection and response systems. He brings deep expertise in implementing SIEM and SOAR platforms, and has extensive experience managing critical security infrastructure such as next-generation firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS systems, and email security solutions — spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

As a Wazuh Ambassador, Imtiaz champions open-source security and the value of unified threat detection, compliance monitoring, and incident response. He is committed to sharing practical knowledge with the security community and helping organizations of all sizes leverage Wazuh to strengthen their security posture.
