Leon DuPree is a Senior Security Architect at Dewpoint and Executive Professor at Eastern Michigan University’s School of Information Security & Applied Computing, where he teaches defensive cybersecurity, audit controls, and disaster recovery planning.

With over 15 years of experience spanning Deloitte, PwC, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Leon specializes in application security architecture, risk management, and compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

He is honored to serve as a Wazuh Ambassador, equipping the next generation of defenders through open-source security tools and hands-on, real-world training.
