Michael Theumert is a mechatronics engineer and Co-Founder of XaaS Enterprise GmbH (SECaaS.IT), where he helps organizations build cybersecurity capabilities based on open technologies. His work focuses on designing, building, and operating Wazuh-based security platforms that bridge security operations and governance by integrating detection, monitoring, automation, and continuous evidence generation into a unified operational model.

As a consultant, speaker, and author, Michael enjoys sharing hands-on knowledge through articles, tutorials, and community discussions. Beyond customer projects, he actively contributes to the community by publishing technical articles, reference architectures, and practical deployment guides around Wazuh and its ecosystem, including the “Monitoring Wazuh with Zabbix” article series and its accompanying reference implementation. He believes that technology creates value only when people understand it, trust it, and can confidently turn insights into action.
