Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing, designing, implementing, and optimizing Wazuh in Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our DevOps team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the scalability and availability of our services.
DevOps Team
The DevOps team facilitates and maintain all the Wazuh installation alternatives to assist with massive deployments and automation. It also takes care of the Cloud accounts management providing access and resources for the rest of the teams.

Job description
Your role in Wazuh
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing AWS infrastructure costs and identify optimization opportunities.
- Design and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising performance or security.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to address issues related to orchestration and management tools.
- Establish and configure monitoring tools to ensure the continuous availability of services.
- Contribute to feature design for deployment in the cloud, focusing on cost-effectiveness.
- Actively participate in the Wazuh community, sharing expertise and staying updated on best practices.
- Mentor security engineers, security operations teams, and incident responders on cost optimization practices.

What you bring along
- Fluent in English.
- In-depth understanding of Linux environments.
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting languages.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and responsible.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, demonstrating seniority in cloud cost optimization.
Bonus skills
- Experience with Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, AWS, and Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies.
