Full-Stack Elixir Developer

Cloud Apps Team

The Cloud Apps team builds and maintains the cloud applications that deliver, package, and commercialize the company's security content and services. Our focus is on creating scalable, user-friendly platforms that bring this value directly to customers. We are also responsible for producing, maintaining, and updating the underlying security content. This includes our Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) work—gathering, analyzing, and interpreting threat information—as well as building the internal tools required to create, manage, and distribute all security content across the organization.

Your role in Wazuh

Our role is defined by the following:

  • Design, implement, and maintain web applications and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.
  • Build real-time, responsive user interfaces using Phoenix LiveView.
  • Work hand-in-hand with designers and DevOps to craft seamless user experiences.
  • Contribute to system architecture and make key decisions around performance and reliability.

Required skills

  • Experience in a similar backend or full-stack development role.
  • Understanding of Elixir and the Phoenix web framework.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Comfortable with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, JSON).
  • Understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST concepts.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus skills

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity.
  • Test-driven development.
