Full-Stack Elixir Developer

CTI Team

Our cyber threat intelligence (CTI) team is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information about potential and existing threats. Their primary goal is to understand the threat landscape and provide actionable intelligence to help prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats. The team is also responsible for providing the tools and services required to manage and distribute all the generated security content.

Your role in Wazuh

Our role is defined by the following:

  • Design, implement, and maintain web applications and APIs using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.
  • Build real-time, responsive user interfaces using Phoenix LiveView.
  • Work hand-in-hand with designers and DevOps to craft seamless user experiences.
  • Contribute to system architecture and make key decisions around performance and reliability.

Required skills

  • Experience in a similar backend or full-stack development role.
  • Understanding of Elixir and the Phoenix web framework.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Comfortable with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, JSON).
  • Understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST concepts.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus skills

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity.
  • Test-driven development.
