Job description

Your role in Wazuh

As the Support Team Lead, you will take a key role in shaping and driving the success of our support operations while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring the support team to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
  • Overseeing support workflows, prioritizing and resolving escalated technical and customer issues effectively.
  • Driving collaboration across teams to identify and implement process improvements, product enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their success and satisfaction with our solutions.
  • Designing and delivering training materials, best practices, and documentation to enable team independence and proactive customer support.
  • Acting as the point of escalation for critical incidents, coordinating responses, and managing customer communication.
  • Reporting on key performance metrics, team achievements, and identifying areas for strategic improvement.

What you bring along

  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in a support or technical leadership role, ideally in IT, SaaS, or a customer-facing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux environments, troubleshooting, and administration.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar.
  • A proactive approach to solving challenges, with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to foster team collaboration and motivate individuals to perform at their best.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Bonus skills

  • Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with the Elastic Stack or similar monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies or ITIL practices.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest in technology and support practices.
